Windows 10 Upgrade Help

So today I got the notification that I can download Windows 10 through the reservation thing. I am ready to do that, but I have a question. Before I click the button upgrade now, do I have to do anything else with my PC? Thanks in advance!

Before any major change like this, be prepared if things go wrong.

1. You should backup any critical data (doc/pics/video) to elsewhere.
2. You should create an image of that current install, and save that elsewhere. Macrium Reflect can do this easily.
Just in case.
3. Document your current OS license key. Belarc Advisor can do this.
4. Verify your hardware has Win 10 drivers. Most mainstream hardware does, but if have something weird, check and see.

Nothing but my OS is on my C drive. My other drive, which I named E, has everything else on it. Will this download affect my E drive?

No, it should not affect your E drive.

The first problem will be GeForce. Nvidia does not play well with Win 10. Make sure you have the latest drivers and a copy of the one from your current setup.
