I have windows 10 laptop, (couldn't find a 7), Laptop has only 2 GB on drive c which was 3/4 full new. Will 10 upgrade make it any more useful? I've deleted all I can, even bought CCCleanerPRO, piriform, to help me. I'm not a geek but will spend hours on researching on mainly Tom's @ How to Geek. I can follow instructions.my windows 7 burned in housefire. Thinking of paying to wipe 10 @ load 7. Ideas on either issue? !st try at forum question, many thanks, cindy

With only 2GB free, your upgrade options are likely very limited. What is the total capacity of your laptop's storage device (SSD or HDD)?

Have you used the Windows 10 built-in Disk Cleanup tool?

If so, did you cleanup the system files and remove any previous Windows installations? If not, check that as it may free up significant space.

Updates are for being performance and security and should be applied. So, yes, they are useful.
