Question Windows 10 USB stick that came in the box doesnt work.

Recently i tried to reinstal windows completely but when i went to boot it from the same usb stick i used the first time i booted it, it doesnt work. Any ideas? Can i wipe the usb and reinstall windows on it from their website and reformat it again? If so how should i step by step do that?

Use Windows Media Creation Tools to fabricate your installer. You will need a 16GB pen drive to move forward, if the pen drive you've bought has at least 16GB of space on it, yes you can reuse it. Wait, where did you source the pen drive from?

I got the usb from windows themselves in that small package you get when you buy the software, but it seems like it doesnt work anymore

given they are mass produced in the 1000's I am not surprised some fail.

Better to use media creation tool anyway as you get latest version then and no way of telling how old installer is on USB

I bought one of those asswell and was f**** straight out of the box

the most valuable part of the installer package is the licence key, rest can be recreated for free

Yip, only needed the key, made a new setup usb from download
