Had this strange problem twice in the past week.
1 Whilst Windows 10 is running on the computer, screes resolution reverts to basic and it goes to log in screen.
  1. After entering password it tells me "wrong password" even though pasword is right.
  2. Tried booting with system disc in order to repair but it says cannot repair.
  3. Tried "system restore" but again will not work.

After somehow rebooting to command prompt I checked the "users" directory" and I found that the sub directory with my name had totally vanished - which is probably the reason that it will not accept my pasword , will not repair and will not perform system restore.

This is twice this has happened in the past week. After the first time i installed a new HDD too and it still happened on the new HDD after reinstalling windows on it. Now it looks like a new installation again is coming as it is the only way the get back up and running.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Where did you get windows? You probably are using a non-legitimate copy of windows is my guess because this just doesn’t happen to anybody else
