Windows 10 Videos Glitchy

my videos are really weird. I can play them on youtube but .mp4 and wmb do not work. it wil open and be 3-4x longer then it should be and it will play then restart and play the whole thing but with about 3 seconds lonfer until it is finished. also the audio is messed up it is a constant "robot noise" it has been like this since windows 8 too

Do they have the same problem using MPC-HC with and without DXVA?

I would try an alternative browser to see if it works.

In a pinch if you use Firefox, you can use a 3rd party addon to force it to use the old flash video player if that works better for you.

thanks man it worked but do you know how to set it as the default player because i am in settings and it isnt an option

So it seems your default player just doesn't work. For Windows 10, just use the search box for program defaults and it should take you to the right place.

You can also try to use the file association setting in the options for MPC-HC.
