So, I have been experiencing a wealth of crashes related to the volmgr and page files. So, to start off, I had windows page filing off due to the massive amount of space it took up on my small 32 gb operating system SSD. However, afterwards, I began getting BSODS related to page filing whenever I played demanding games. Also, my applications frequently crashed. So, I re-enabled my page files and set them to system managed. It is currently using 5888 mb for pagefiles. I went to play ARK: Survival Evolved(A FANTASTIC game by the way for those of you who haven't played it) and while the game did load up without a BSOD, my pc froze about 2 minutes after. I got back to my event viewer and it says it was a VolMgr error: "Crash dump initialization failed!". ?All of my drivers are up to date and my SSD and HDD are basically brand new. What do I do? Typically I find the solution to these errors rather easily, but i'm stumped. This error is the bane of my gaming experience.
