Windows 10 vs I7-7700

Can I use windows 8 with the i7-7700? I heard that i7-7700 is only for windows 10 is that true?

Official support for the 7700 is Windows 10 only. It should run on Windows 8, but you wont get any updates or security patches.

On the semi-positive side, it is rumored that MS, despite the era of eligibility having closed, is *still* allowing folks to activate Win10 with a valid Win7/8 product key.

In short answer.... YES it will work I've done it
