I'm currently running windows 10.
Recently, my computer will only run in safe mode, not with the normal boot up settings which is quite annoying. I am currently trying to fix the problem but now am clueless on how to fix it. I tried unistalling my graphics card, system repair, sadly I don't have a recent recovery point, tried disabling start up programs in msconfig.

What happens when I boot up is this, the windows icon will appear with the loading circle, computer will then turn on my second monitor, then a black screen will just sit there and won't work.

I even tried plugging in my old hard drive, it works like a charm.. but my current hard drive does not.. so of course I'm thinking its related to this.

If anyone has any suggestions, please do help.

Oh, I'm putting the pc into safe mode to boot, not the computer itself.
Cause that option is already unchecked

sorry I didn't read it well

you plugged old harddrive, does it work as boot device or not?
how about unplug your second monitro use only 1 monitor
after boot screen, try to move your mouse, does it show the pointer?
and try scf /scannow on safe mode

I think I narrowed it down to my graphics card. After unistalling it, I was able to boot normally on one monitor. But.. When I tried reinstalling it manually, the second monitor started to boot, but it then went black. Restarted my computer and boom.. The problem happened again.
