After a long amount of time I finally remembered WinSCP does wireless file transfers to two devices on the same network. So I went ahead and attempted to connect but it didn't work. After little bit of research turns out I need to install an SSH server, but apparently Windows 10 natively has SSH server. Does anyone use WinSCP to do wireless file transfers on Windows 10?

Transfer speed is limited by the slowest device in the chain.

WinSCP (FTP) will make zero difference over any other transfer protocol if the WiFi is the actual issue.
You're still moving the same amount of data, over the same limited WiFi pipe.

For some reason the speeds are insanely slow. It's reading off a hard drive and writing onto an SSD on my laptop. Weird. I heard transfers on the same network are not limited by WiFi speeds but by the actual router itself. Anyway was hoping maybe WinSCP might make a difference. I don't have that special ethernet cable nor an ethernet port at all on my laptop. (Razer Blade) so wired transfer is out
