hiya! i'm having a problem with my computer since i upgraded to a new samsung 1tb ssd. it took me a while to suss out how to reinstall windows - but i managed it and got the thing to run! i downloaded some games and had it download some updates. however, when i came to reboot the machine, the system asked me to run windows from a particular section [4], which had left me confused. as i wanted my system to be perfect, i tried running the repair manager but the computer will not let me enter the programme, even though i do know my password. at present it is completely dead! what have i gotten wrong?

windows 10 [home]
i3 processor 7100
msi mortor motherboard
samsung 1tb ssd [ovg]
2 x western digital 500 gb hdd
evga geforce 1660ti graphics
evga 650 psu

Going to have to assume you have Windows installed at least twice, and, a boot manager has been installed on the original drive, which is likely now needed to run from either drive...

Disconnect the WD spinner originals, do a reinstall , deleting existing partitions from Samsung SSD (is this an 860 EVO?) and do a full clean install to the SSD, then reinstall your apps on them...(I'd install your favorite/most played games on it as well since you have a 1 TB drive)

Then (assuming you have vital data backed up somewhere), you can reformat the former OS/applications drives and use th em for bulk storage/backups...
