So I'm trying to install Windows 10 on my new pc which I just built. Whenever I turn on my computer I get brought to a screen which tells me to press f1 to get into the BIOS. I've changed the boot drive to my disk drive and put the Windows 10 disk into the disk drive. However, when I save changes and restart my computer, nothing happens when I turn my computer back on. It just brings me back to the same screen instead of installing the OS. My motherboard is the Asus h97i-plus if that helps.

Yes, sorry for the misunderstanding. I am trying to install Windows 10 by using a disk(DVD I presume) so I switched the boot drive to the ODD instead of the hard drive. Should I switch it back to the hard drive? I'm kind of stuck because when I restart my computer, nothing says it's installing.

I believe so because I am trying to install Windows 10 using a DVD. I just got my computer to post so there is no other OS on my computer.

Do you think there might be something wrong with the DVD itself? To be honest, I sort of hope that's the problem and not some other unknown factor.
Side Note: In the mother board's manual, it says it supports Windows 7-8.1 but it comes with a disk that says "Windows 10 Ready."

I see a screen with "American Megatrends" at the top. The logo is a red Sierpinski like triangle. Then it tells me my motherboard, my CPU and Memory. Below that it says "Detected ATA/ATAPI Devices..." Under that it says that what things are connected to the SATA ports (WD hard drive then Asus ODD). Finally, on the bottom, it reads, "Overclocking failed! Please enter Setup to re-configure your system." Then it tells me to press f1 to run SETUP.

I feel like this is just the normal BIOS screen but I feel like some other screen should pop up when I turn on the computer since I have the Windows 10 disk in.

To be honest, I'm not quite sure why it says over clocking failed, I might have tried to bring the RAM up to 1866 mhz but when I enter the BIOS, it just seems to be the normal BIOS
