Just got myself a Switch Pro Controller, works just fine on the Switch itself but my PC won't recognize it.

-I tried connecting it via USB, the battery charges but the PC doesn't detect the controller itself (also it doesn't make "the sound" when plugging it in)
-Tried connecting it via Bluetooth, it connects fine but the PC recognizes it as some other device instead of a controller
-The "Game Controllers" thing on the control panel doesn't list it neither way
-Already tried the solution listed on this other thread https://forums.tomshardware.com/thr...nintendo-switch-pro-controller-on-pc.3391782/ but didn't work

Any idea of what's going on?
(The controller is the official one btw)

It’s not designed to work on the PC, could be anything to do with firmware changes or your particular build of windows. It’s not an Xbox or PS4 controller that’ll work 99% of the time.

why would you want the switch controller on the PC it doesn’t have analogue triggers?

Well, since I already purchased the switch controller I thought it would be a waste to buy a whole new controller only for my PC, and since Steam has a config for the switch controller I thought it would work...
