Windows 10 won't start beyond the initial screen

I can't sign into windows 10 on my desktop.. It worked correctly yesterday.

I tried making a system image from my windows 10 laptop and it wants to make a windows 7 image.

Have you tried logging in Safe Mode? From your sign in screen you can load the laptop into Safe Mode. Please use the link below for the complete guide.

If it will not let you login to Safe Mode as well I would suggest contacting the manufacturer first for password related concerns.

There is no sign in screen. I F12 and reboot from HD and still no sign in screen..

Did you notice any noises coming from the pc before this event happened?
suggestion,go to the HDD manufacturer's website, and check fo rprograms you can download and run on the pc that analyze the HDD for integrity. My reasoning, is maybe the hard drive has gone kaput?

No noise. The HDD is good. Can not download anything. No sign in screen.
I shut off the unit..I left it off for two hours, started it and everything works fine..
The unit would not let me download a cd. In F12 there is NO START IN SAFE MODE..
