Hello

Im going straight to the problem. Basically i bought a prebuilt gaming pc with these components i9 12900k, 64gb ram, 3080 ti, motherboard z690.
Came preinstalled with windows 11 and i decided to format my harddrive and install windows 10. I couldnt install windows 10 over windows 11 was giving me some error message.

Now the problem that has been eating my brain for a week is that everytime i boot from usb to install windows 10 or 11 i get the same message everytime that i need to select missing drivers.
I have tried downloading RST drivers and a whole lot of other drivers to my usb and install them but it doesnt work.

Safe boot in bios is disabled
I have tried 3 different usb and all usb ports
I have installed the iso file 9 times on different usb

This is my last resort for help im crying on the inside.

Not sure what you mean by "format my harddrive" but it might be better if you boot from a usb containing a partitioning app like Gparted or Minitool Partition Wizard and delete any partitions left over from the previous installation. All of the space on the drive should show as unallocated and you can verify that is has a GPT partition indentifier. Also you might tell us more about this hard drive or any other drive situation and why it might require IRST.

I went into diskpart and cleaned the drive and created a partition also converted to gpt. Its a wd black pcie 2tb ssd

What is model name of your storage devices?
If it is nvme drive, then you may need to load nvme drivers.

Can you show screenshots from available options in BIOS?

You can see model of the drive in one of the pictures.

In your screenshots you're not showing full screen.
There are more info/settings available, than you're showing (on right side of the screen).
I have looked around on how to access advanced bios but seems like its locked from hp. Unless i can flash a modified bios file from their original rom file and access advanced bios and change to ahci maybe.

Try loading Intel NVME drivers during OS install.
Download from Gigabyte, extract, copy to windows install media and load during install.

Download link (choose windows USB install tool option for Intel Z370):
https://www.gigabyte.com/Support/Utility?kw=windows&p=1

Drivers are located in (after extraction of archive files):
\WindowsImageTool\StorageControllers\Intel_NVMe\Driver64

just tried, didnt work. Was getting same message as before that no new drivers were detected. I also tried this

Not sure what you mean by "created a partition". You do not have to manually create any partitions since the Windows installer does this itself. All of the space on the drive should be unallocated; only the GPT identifier is recommended for Secure Boot. Perhaps using diskpart is part of the problem and you should consider an external tool like Gparted or Partition Wizard. I have installed Windows 10 and 11 on m.2s and ssds and there are no drivers required. Nothing else other than totally unallocated space should be required.

I managed to get past the drivers error message now i cant see my drive but when I load RST driver i can see my drive and then i get this message saying couldnt create new partition or find existing one. I tried using diskpart to create a partition but still doesnt work.

Delete existing partition.
Then click next. Windows install process will create partitions as necessary.
