You could delete it, yes.
Do you have any RGB though? Ene is open source driver, its found in a few different things.

one way to delete it is run this as admin and look on drivers tab, it should list it. I think you can right click, uninstall using this - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns
Well the keyboard lights up red when activated, but the laptop doesn't support Mystic Light RGB for MSI. I also plug in a Logi keyboard which changes colour. I will try what you suggest. Thanks.

Dragon centre includes ene, but thats not listed on your board, only MSI Centre which I can't see connected to driver.
I know Gigabyte use it as it has been on my pc before. A few other motherboard makers use it, MSI included.
I don't think Logitech use the driver. Some companies use their own drivers.

alas ene doesn't show what its linked to in there

if yoiu unticked it instead it just stops it running at start. Then it only runs if a program needs it, might be safer than deleting it right away.

Thank you. MSI finally got back in touch this morning and said I can delete the files but I will do what you said and just stop it from running. Cheers!

What should I be unticking by the way? Sorry.

You are looking in task manager, I was looking in Autoruns

Run it as admin
it shows on driver tab
if you click the blue tick next to the driver in there, it won't run

Drivers don't show in Task manager.
Ah apologies, thank you. I have checked auto runs and nothing obvious like yours is jumping out at me. Could it be the mystic light service as I can see that on auto run and my laptop doesn't support this?

You download Mystic Light through MSI Centre. It replaced Dragon Centre on devices that had it originally
So you should perhaps be able to remove it from same location.

I assume you already looked for any MSI apps in Add/Remove programs.

Otherwise, I don't know. I don't like mysteries so I kept digging

MSI confirmed that my laptop shouldn't / doesn't need ene.sys so I deleted the files and I no longer receive the error with 0 problems.
