Question Windows 11 24H2 2nd time

I updated my laptop to Windows 11 24H2 when the ISO became available from Microsoft.
Today I noticed that Windows update started installing "Windows 11, version 24H2"
winver showing 24H2 26100.2033 already, so why is it doing the update again?

I'd assume that is in accordance with the standard Windows Update policy. A new version of Window 11 24H2 sent out to you and everyone else running it.

I don't use 11, but it sounds like you cannot refuse updates forever barring some extreme tactics. Just like Windows 10. I think on Windows 10 you can delay updates for up to 35 days?

WIn 11 is the same.
Pause, but not "Prevent forever".

Now it's showing 26100.2314. Interesting, another Asus update got KB5046617 which gave it the same build version.
