[SOLVED] Windows 11 already installed, can I get a Ryzen 5 1600 and keep Windows 11?

Currently, I own a core i3 9100f, and it bottlenecks my GTX 980 TI horribly.

I was going to go with a core i5 9600k, but the Ryzen 5 1600 is cheaper, and from what I have read, is more powerful.

I am not looking to overclock my CPU or RAM, so I would go with something like A320 or B350 motherboard.

My question is, I already have Windows 11 Pro installed on my computer, and I was wondering if I will be able to keep that, as 1st gen Zen Ryzen processor's aren't fully supported for Windows 11 from what I know (I am probably wrong). I read that they require installing Windows 11 through the ISO file, but, I don't want to go through any trouble.

Can I get a Ryzen 1600 and keep Windows 11 no hassle? Or should I spend more and get a Ryzen 2600?

I am on a really tight budget, due to me needing to spend the majority of my money on a GPU, so I am looking at ways of saving the most amount of money as possible.

Thanks.

My bad, I don't actually have those Processor's to test, but, the i5 9600k is about ( a little worse) on par with the Ryzen 5 2600, so I am just going to go with it. I read on some website that the 1600 and 2600 was better, but, they are both worse than the 9600k. And, anyways I already have a B365 LGA 1151 Gen 2 motherboard, so, it's the most logical upgrade.

There are 2 types of Ryzen 1600(x), There's 1600AE which is from first gen Ryzen and 1600AF which is 2nd gen, same gen as 2600(x). So AF is compatible with W11 but AE may need change in registry to bypass W11 requirement.
