Question Windows 11 file explorer hangs, open

My win11 has started hanging, if I attempt to open a desktop folder it just starts clocking.
I tried the sfc commsnd, no change.

check hard drive for errors with manufacturers tool
run memtest
check temperatures of CPU and GPU
