Question Windows 11 is single OS but boot menu still appears

I've just built a new PC.
On the old one, I had W7 and W10 dual booting on one 500GB SSD.
I've deleted the partitions and installed W11.
However, its still coming up with the boot menu! Only one OS showing in msconfig so cant delete, and cant expand my existing windows parititon to include the old w7 which is now just shown as "unallocated space".

Because you apparently did not delete the original Win 7 boot partition.

Are/were there more than one drive in this system?

I deleted its contents but didn't have an option to delete the partition during the W11 installation.
There's two drives, one SSD one HDD. The windows installation is on the SSD.

It seems to be okay for now after trying something in the command prompt, but the parititon is still there and I can't merge it with the existing one
