It's not happening all the time, I'd say about once every couple of weeks but it's incredibly annoying when it does, I've tried multiple different 'solutions' even as far as installing a new version of Windows, yet nothing works and I just get that message telling me that I need to install an update.

Please could someone help ?

Are you saying -
you have installed a specific update and
windows is asking you to install the same update again and again?

What exact update is causing the problem? What is number of this update?
Yes I think so,
I do not know the name of the update Windows does not show it, it just says update required in the start menu.

I can't at the moment as it is all OK just now.
I have restarted, but like I said before it happens completely randomly, maybe once every two weeks or so,
it has been happening for quite some time now.
One to two updates per month - those are just normal windows updates.

You can check windows update name/number in Settings/Windows Update
(if there are any pending updates at the moment).

Nope, surely not normal for it to be updating this frequently, besides it hasn't always been doing this there was a time when I'd not see one update in absolutely ages, now I'm getting them practically every 2 weeks, something definitely isn't right. Already checked no pending updates and all past ones have been successful according to Windows.

It's completely normal. There are several quality updates every month. It's the same for everybody.
You can check it yourself
Settings/Windows Updates/Update history
What every 2 weeks completely normal?
Isn't there anything I can do that stops it from happening.
