Question Windows 11 mobo compatability

Microsoft's PC Healthcheck fails my computer because of lack of TPM.

My motherboard is an Asrock Z87M Extreme4
chipset 06 and latest UEFI (2016)
and Intel i7 4790K 4Ghz Haswell

Does this mean I have no hope of running Win 11 or is there a workaround?

I seem to remember seeing a small plugin board to add TPM. Is that viable?

Requirements are still in flux.
Win 11 has not been released yet.
Win 11 is pretty much Win 10 Service Pack 1

Sorry I should have searched more thoroghly, this issue has already been raised! So it seems some UEFI BIOS can be configured to turn on TPM or equivelant.

I have search and can't seem to find it on my Asus Z87M Extreme mobo. Can anyone else see it if they have this board please?

Looks like the scalpers have already started buying up all the TDM modules and the prices, (if you can find one,) are already going through the roof!

Look for PTT in your bios. After enabling PTT, you will need to reboot and enable TPM2 in a new page in the bios for trusted computing. If you don't have PTT (or the AMD equivalent), then it's time to upgrade!
