Question WINDOWS 11, MOUSE/TOUCHPAD AUTO SCROLLING ISSUE

Hey there, I am facing this really annoying issue.

My laptop automatically scrolls down on its own. I can't figure out why it's happening.

What's happening?

If i open a page in Chrome it automatically scrolls to the bottom of the webpage.

If i open word or any spreadsheet it automatically scrolls to the last row making it impossible to type.

If i'm just on idle desktop it automatically selects last icon. And when i double click to open some other app icon, it opens the last app. The same goes with any folders or files out there.

What's more?

If i scroll back to top, it again scrolls down. It's like playing tug-of-war :-(

What I have tried so far?

I tried every possible solution like Windows Reset cloud download, updating mouse drivers, everything working well with my hardware keys. I tried external mouse(same auto scrolling). I just couldn't make out this my own. As a temporary fix, if I press Num Lock key, it functions normally for some time, again gets back to auto scrolling Business.

Please help people!

I have seen this kind of issues multiple times and it's always the mousepad that is stuck in some "action" state, in your case, scroll down. It's very easy to disable it in Windows 11 and you can just use a regular mouse.

When i started typing in chrome browser, i found its automatically typing from search results that pop-up. This is weird issue related to touchpad only. Who can help me here?

Hello, I finally found a fix for the above issue when i was in search of permanent solution.

I installed keytweak application and just disabled the Page Up and Page Down buttons. It works wonders. Thank you for all the support. Happy scrolling!😊
