My system may be infected idk but that’s why I’m clean installing and thought might as well go to Windows 11 since they are killing 10 ending support for Windows 10.

So now my question are:

1) Do you turn on Secure Boot and TPM before or after clean install ?

2) Does the possibility of malware make it a bad idea to turn on secure boot when pc has malware or whatever?

3) How does the key stuff for Secure Boot and TPM work anyway. Seems like it wouldn’t be a good idea to make keys when you've got something on your PC ?

So now my question are do you turn on secure boot and tpm before or after clean install?
TPM and UEFI is mandatory for windows 11.
Secure boot is not - it just has to be available.
Does the possibility of malware make it a bad idea to turn on secure boot when pc has malware or whatever?
What? Please explain.

What key stuff? Did you mean secure boot keys?
Well - you can read about it. Those may not be very simple concepts though.

So enable tmp before clean install? got it.Regarding my second question I was asking in a hypothetical scenario where I 100% have some sort of malware would it be bad to turn on secure boot I have no idea how secure boot keys work but I would think making any sort of keys on a infect system would be a bad idea so for my last question do I enable secure boot before the clean install or after

depends on what malware you´ve got , but to clean install win11 you have to enable TPM anyways
