[SOLVED] Windows 11 "Windows Updates" Are Not Showing At All. Help Please?

My computer seems to be buggy in certain aspects of the system. I installed Windows 11 early this year with no issues. It seems I need to update it now though, I have not updated once since installing and this is all I get when I go to windows update.

right click start button

windows terminal (admin)
if it doesn't open as powershell, click the drop down arrow in title row and pick from list

copy/paste this command into window:

Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth

and press enter

Then type SFC /scannow

and press enter

Restart PC if SFC fixes any files as some fixes require a restart to be implemented

First command repairs the files SFC uses to clean files, and SFC fixes system files

SFC = System File Checker. First command runs DISM - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/what-is-dism?view=windows-11

do you happen to have the installer you used to put it on?

Hello, I have tried the above steps and nothing has changed. I no longer have the installer but it was just the windows 11 installation assistant that upgraded windows 10 users to window 11.

have you tried the windows update troubleshooter?
its under troubleshoot in settings/system
click other trouble-shooters
it should be in the top section

You might need to do this to get a copy of the Install you are on so we can fix it - https://pureinfotech.com/download-windows-11-21h2-iso-after-22h2/ - Windows has updated to a new version in the last 2 months and can't use that to fix yours. Pretty good chance anyway... if its never updated.

4. current version is 22H2

its always possible you could try running the Installation assistant (1st link) and upgrade win 11 to 22H2 and see if that fixes it.

Troubleshooting solved it, had to run the troubleshoot a few times to get it to actually fix all the issues, but then I restarted and now I can update. Youve been a great help Colif. Thankyou.

I tried this before any of the solutions you gave previously and Windows 11 automatically denies you opening it and says "Windows 11 already installed"
