Is there no support for this card on windows 2000?
I've tried using various dll's modifying .inf's and such and such.
But it never seems to work.. Always reports the device cannot start..
Does this mean there's absolutely no driver support for windows 2000 and this card?
It's an integrated GPU into the motherboard. Capable of being overclocked from 500mhz to 657mhz stable stock cooling. Can only overclock using windows vista - windows 8.1
My system.
ATI Radeon HD 4200 Integrated 2Gb video ram
4Gb system ram
Windows 7 64bit home premium Genuine. (at the moment)
two 250Gb hard drives 7200rpm each
AMD Sempron single core 2.9Ghz - 2911mhz
Realtek High Definition Audio.
I know i shouldn't be using windows 2000 with this setup. but i can install it and run web browser and stuff just fine. Even the audio works and drivers for keyboard and mouse.. nothing is missing except for video driver.
It is very stable and smooth even compared to windows 7.
I have tried every method I can possibly think of to get video drivers to work on windows 2000 with an ATI Radeon HD 4200
but no matter what i do it says the device cannot start
does that mean this Entire thread is not worth anything if there's no driver support for windows 2000?
