So to sum things up, I must have downloaded something sketchy and gotten a virus. One day I turned on my PC to an odd screen I had not seen before. I see options for system repair, but I cannot repair the system since the drive containing windows is an SSD with only 120gb and it says there is not enough space. I've also tried to factory reset my PC, but i also get a message saying that I don't have enough space to do that.

I tried downloading windows to a usb drive and downloading it again onto my pc. Once I select the version id like to download, I get a message saying it cannot be installed because Windows is already installed on this computer, and then redirects me to a repair screen, where yet again, I can't repair due to not enough space on my SSD.

Can someone please give me some solutions to this problem? It would be much appreciated!

Has it been attached to your Microsoft account? Most registrations are. If you installed it yourself and entered your email address during the installation or in any other way attached it to your Microsoft account then you shouldn't need worry about a license key. It should automatically activate itself. Also, if it came preinstalled on your system, it should automatically activate based on your motherboard identity.

I would suggest that doing a CLEAN install is the method you need to use. This will eliminate the issue of not enough space however you will of course lose any files on that drive.

If you follow the directions in the following tutorial, EXACTLY as outlined, not skipping steps or changing anything because you THINK you...

I'm on Windows 10. It's a legit licensed copy, but I don't currently have the product code for it
