I am currently running on a 32-bit version of Windows 7 Ultimate, and I want to upgrade to 64-bit. I know you can do this if you have both 32 and 64-bit installation CDs, but in my case, the 32-bit version I have was given to me on a burned CD(by a programmer friend who owns their own programming company) and I do not have the 64-bit CD. Now if I were to re-buy Windows 7 Home and install the 64-bit version what problems may I run into?(because I know there will be problems, it can't be that easy) And how can I avoid running into these problems? Any help will be much appreciated!
Also, I am planning on buying an SSD, if I install 64-bit on this drive can I just boot from the SSD without removing the 32-bit version from my HDD?
