I have win7 32bit on one of my computers and I was wondering I I'll be able to upgrade to win 10 64bit the computer is plenty powerful enough I've got more ram waiting for when I do get a 64bit.

Solution
You can't upgrade from a 32-bit os to a 64-bit os. It requires a clean reinstall. If you do the windows 10 upgrade it will be a 32-bit OS. Your windows 7 key should work for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions, you'll just need to find media. After you get 64-bit win 7 media backup your data and do a clean reinstall of win 7 64-bit, then you'll be able to upgrade to 64-bit win 10.

You will have to purchase 64 bit Windows 10 and do a clean install if you have the OEM version of Windows 7 32 bit. The OEM version of Windows 7 are either 32 or 64 bit (sold separately). Now if the retail version on Windows 7 comes with both 64 and 32 bit in the same package.

OEM packaging is blue (home) or purple (Pro) and the Retail is white with the blue Windows logo for home (32 and 64) and white with purple windows logo (pro) 32 and 64 bit.
