Windows 7 64Bit Home Premium Crashes? on screensaver.

i couldn't wake my pc from blank screensaver (ts set to require log on after waking up)
but it just froze (blank screen) i rebooted with ease.

note all my motherboard & video drivers are up to date.

spec
i5 4440 3.3ghz
gigabyte-b85m-d3h

mushkin enhanced silverline 8gb 2x4gb 1600mhz 1.5v
gtx 970 ssc evga 4gb +

ihas dvd burner

western digital black 2tb 7200rpm
western digital blue 1tb 7200rpm
seasonic xseries 650w psu

I ran sfc /scannow No bad result.

Might be a poorly written screensaver app. Or you may have a several poorly written ad-ware, bloat-ware, malware apps running in the background. First thing I'd do is eliminate any crap that might be causing conflicts. Start by running CCleaner and do the Clean and Registry portions both. https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
Follow that with a FULL virus scan after updating your virus pgm. Then run Malwarebytes to get rid of any malware that may be interfering. https://www.malwarebytes.com/

just wiped my o.s on the 27th and clean install and update of drivers/windows.
i have avast av, malwarebytes premium, superanti spyware pro, adwcleaner, hitman pro.

i ran all (not at the same time) and nothing was found during the scans.

i use windows built in screen saver no 3rd party apps
