Windows 7 64bit

Why is Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit running Internet Explorer 32 bit. I tried moving the program to another location, start IE64 but it crashes.

Basically, they use the 32bit version for compatibility. The advantages of 64 bit aren't things that most users care about.

Thanks for the info. I will try the changes just to see if there is any difference.

To Calculagator: I tried the steps in the article but there was no change.

The larger point of the article was that 64bit is not fully ready for IE on Windows 7. There is no reason to run 64bit and you cannot disable 32bit.
