Hi There,
I recently burned 3x4gb slots of ram and my pc is currently running with 12gb instead of 24 which used to. I started getting BSOD frequently so I formatted my pc in order to clean apps that drain memory as much as possible. While I currently installed latest version of windows 10 pro, I was wondering if I should downgrade to windows 8 or 7 since the main apps that I'm working which are illustrator & photoshop along with edge browser and those older versions would consume less ram which can be used for those apps?!
My System:
HP Z600
CPU: 2x Intel Xeon X5650
RAM: 12Gb DDR3
GPU: Nvidia Quadro K2000 2gb
P.S. I know that the best solution would be to upgrade ram but that's impossible for my case because the slots are burned and since it is DDR3 very hard to find so my best bet is making windows 10 as light as possible or downgrading to a lighter windows 8 or 7, what do you suggest?
