Windows 7/ acer aspire/ sata/ disk read error occured/recovery not working

On my Acer I am getting the message

A disk read error occurred
Press Ctl+Alt+Del to restart

I have done this and the same message comes back up ??

Get on a working computer, research & burn a rescue CD and boot from that. Seems to be a lot of Acer i/o can't boot problems reported here and other OS Forums.
