Installed win 7 on a new drive. It won't 'recognize' the solo and therefore cannot connect to the net - any solutions or advice please?

Where did you locate the standalone drivers for the adaptor ?

Ok, terrific, thanks. Might be helpful if you described out to uninstall the wifi ap s/ware - I have installed win 7 on a new hardrive-nothing else on there.
Using vista to get online at present - and of course that works perfectly

Solution
I have the same problem usin AP Mode with Windows 7.
Should I install UI Package and driver (support Win98WinMEWin2KWinXPVista) driver Version 1313?
Since I don't see any software/driver for Windows 7.

Thank you!
EB.

Hi, have U maybe manage to start AP from that WiFi@MB... cause Asus WiFi AP Solo doesn't work [or work but not at 100% with mixed Realtek 8187_1313.0613_UI_1.00.0023 and ASUS WiFi AP Solo 7.3.13.0 for Vista]... i need to use it as AP [no problem @XP SP2] but with Windows 7 x64 - problem :/

I have Asus P5Q3 WiFi Deluxe and my wifi ap solo worked exelent with Vista. I have installed windows 7, and downloaded the new and slightly different wifi ap program directly from asus website, and i have a problem. My laptop receives the signal sent from my desctop pc, but I cannot conect to the internet. And also shows on my desctop pc at the internet conections, at my wireless signal : no internet acces. But I dont know how to change this. Could you please help me? Thanks!
