Windows 7 black screen won't load

my advent laptop won't start window 7, only black screen and sound of movement when switched on.

Try doing a system repair. Insert the Windows 7 disc that came with your computer (if you actually received one) and running startup repair. If you didn't receive a disc, reboot your computer hitting F8 to get into Windows 7 boot options. At that point, If you can select system repair, do so. If you cannot, try booting into Safe Mode. Post back if that works for you. If not, tell us how far you got. And if possible, and needed, download a windows 7 .iso. I believe Microsoft hosts them on their site. That should allow you to get in and do a startup repair.
