Ok so while troubleshooting a friend's PC that wouldn't boot nor except a new install to windows (bluescreened everytime) I tried to take his SSD and install windows to it in my PC. It worked but obviously when I installed it back on his PC its coming up with bootmgr missing.
I have 2 questions:
1. Is there a way to rewrite the bootmgr for his pc so he can try to run the copy of window I installed using my PC?
2. How do I remove the extra copy of windows from my start up? The drive is no longer in my PC.
I know his Mobo and Chipset are different than mine (i'm AMD with ASRock and he's Intel with ASUS). Even if there was a way I think his mobo is shot and it would probably just BSOD again but i'm trying to narrow it down as much as possible.
Thanks in advance.
