Windows 7 cannot find files

Hello,

I have a program developed internally and it will always check for file in system32\myfile.dll is exist before it proceeds. I have no issue with XP, Vista and Windows7 professional. My problem is Windows Home Basic always cannot find that file even it actually exist in system32. Anyone have solution for this?

How many computers with Windows 7 Home Basic have you tried your program on? Perhaps it's just that particular machine?

Is a 1 week old Dell Inspiron notebook with preloded Windows7 home basic.
I dont have second machine with the same OS version.

that is probably due to registry errors.I advise you to download this software from http "://download.cnet.com/Free-Window-Registry-Repair/3000-2086_4-10606555.html" and then click on full scan and then fix errors .If it does not fix the problem, please reply.
