Hello. My laptop(Toshiba L830-114) was very very slow from the beginning when I bought it. I thought it is the way it is because processor is only 1.5Ghz dual core ( i3 2377M ). But recently it went way too slow I mean installation of a program takes 5 to 10 minutes, web pages load for 30 to 60 seconds.
Anyway, ive just found the problem and it is the HDD.
Here's a screen of HDD Sentinel:

The problem is when I start windows chkdisk to recover the bad sectors, it shows no errors(although checks the HDD very slow) or no bad sectors.
Is it possible to repair this hard drive or it is almost dead and I should replace it ?

Solution
Hi

I would test with the hdd manufactures diagnosic software not chkdsk

Hirens boot cd has a collection of diagnostic programs for hdd

While a few bad sectors can be fixed any more means hdd should be replaced
Even if fixed you would need to test the hdd regularly for more bad sectors

Your data is usually worth more than the cost of a new HDD or SSD
