Windows 7 cant see unallocated drive partition ?

I re-installed w/7 on 1TB drive already partitioned with C and D .System on C drive .In disk management D drive shows as " unallocated " ( 803GB). Right click shows all options greyed out.

How do I rename unallocated partition ??

You may has have to bring it online and then initialize first.
