Please, I need as much help as possible on this. So here's my problem: I've been working on my computer for 3 weeks trying to fix this problem with no success. Every time after my computer starts up, I log in, and about 3-5 minutes after everything loads my computer freezes up and doesn't respond. I'm able to move my mouse when this happens. I could wait for as long as I want, but each time I end up having to do a hard reset. Here is what I've tried to do:

1.Disk Defrag down to 2%, not working.
2.Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10
3.I've installed Avast! Internet Security, removed BitDefender
4.scanned with avast! and found adware, a rootkit, and a dropper (all have been removed)
5.Worked fine until I did a restart.
6.Uninstalled MalwareBytes, worked awesome until restart
7.I did a clean boot, disabled all other startup applications, froze right when I logged in

I am really puzzled as to what is going on. I know it's most certainly not a virus. Is it a problem with drivers? Registry? I do use CCleaner and I've run the registry error fix multiple times in the past. Is that a problem?

I have an Acer Aspire 5552 with Windows 7 Home Premium. Thanks so much!

Disable these in ccleaner

They dont have to run

Disable the ccleaner one in ccleaner. Options / monitoring

You can run these manually

No HKCU:Run ooVoo.exe All users

No HKCU:Run Skype Skype Technologies S.A. All users "C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe" /minimized /regrun

It looks like this can use a lot of memory

Yes HKLM:Run EgisTecPMMUpdate Egis Technology Inc. All users "C:\Program Files (x86)\EgisTec IPS\PmmUpdate.exe"

You could probably update it manually

Yes HKLM:Run EgisUpdate Egis Technology Inc. All users "C:\Program Files (x86)\EgisTec IPS\EgisUpdate.exe" -d

Yes HKLM:Run GrooveMonitor Microsoft Corporation All users "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\GrooveMonitor.exe"

Since bitdefender...
Reg cleaners shouldnt be used, these can make things worse. If you have no idea what youre removing. And these can delete valid registry entries

Since ccleaner is installed go to tools/ startup and uninstall. And scheduled tasks. Save to txt file. Copy and paste what comes up in here

Since you've uninstalled bitdefender get their removal tool to remove the rest of it

Yeah nothing comes up in the "Scheduled Tasks" option. Also, what do you mean by the BitDefender thing? What exactly am I supposed to be removing here?

It's okay if I am running it in Safe Mode with Networking right? Because it won't give me enough time to do it on a normal boot.

Yeah still nothing in the "Scheduled Tasks" section. It's been running for 5 minutes. Are you sure you don't want me to just save the .txt file of just the regular "Windows" tab?

Oh my gosh, thank you so much! This fixed everything! I think it was probably interference between Bitdefender and Avast! or MalwareBytes. I'm so glad I posted on the forum. :)
