windows 7 disk read error occured press ctrl alt delete to restart

ok so i started windows and then it said a disk read error occurred press Ctrl alt delete to restart so i did that and then it said it again and all i can access is the f2 and f12 keys PLEASE HELP

do you have any other hdd attached?
check bios if your hdd appears if it doesnt try changing wires on your hdd if it does and you have another hdd attached try the boot menu select hdd and then select the disk where you installed your windows
