Windows 7 doesn't install help!!

Hello,

I have just build a new computer but every time i put in the windows7 disc in it it doesnt go to the windows 7 install screen. It goes to the bios instead.
I already changed the boot order to the optical drive and tried installing from a usb but nothing seems to work.
I have a asus h87 plus motherboard.

make sure you are saving the settings when exit from bios.
Try resetting bios to default if nothing works out.

Yes the hard drive is blank andt all the drives are being detected properly. The settings are on default.

Im sure im saving it after exiting from bios. i always click save and exit or save and reset

try booting without the keyboard plugged into your motherboard. I hope there isn't any key stuck which directly takes you to bios 😀

Tried it but it still doesn't work 🙁

try changing your cmos battery. It can be that too, not for sure. Still you ought to try that.

Do you have fast boot enabled? This only works for Windows 8.

I had this problem with an old board, and I never got it working without installing a drive that already had an o/s on. I suspect it is a bios problem.
You should update the bios and if that doesnt work, send it back.

I have disabled it but it still doesn't work 🙁

Did you run the disks that came with the motherboard first? I see this mentioned on line somewhere. Still looking..

Just go through these steps to make sure you have connected each and every possible thing to your mobo correctly:

if nothing else works, i would suggest returning your motherboard and get it replaced.
