I am trying to install a Linksys wireless G usb network adapter on a Windows 7 desk top system. Linksys tells me that Windows 7 drivers for this adapter are not yet available.
Any ideas where or when the drivers might be available?

Definently use the Vista driver and but more than likely if you havnt already plugged it in yet.. Windows 7 will recognize it and install the correct driver itself... But yes.. a vista driver should work and if it kicks you saying that it isnt vista.. then run in compatibility mode and select vista.

All this is in anticipaton of a new desk top system with Windows 7. How do I discover 32bit or 64bit? I don't have the new system yet.

Download both. If the machine is pre-installed, right-click on "my computer", select "properties and it should say on the next screen under "system". Then install the correct version. If you install windows, it should say.

If the driver software comes as an .exe, righ click on it and select "Run as administrator".
That should work.
