Windows 7 fails to boot strike f1 to retry boot

I have found several threads with similar problems but none quite match my problem. I will start off saying my computer is an Alienware 17 R3 which came preloaded with windows 10 which I gave a try but seriously disliked so I installed windows 7 in UEFI with legacy boot enabled all the install functions proceeded normally then after it was installed and rebooted it fails to load and tells me media presence not detected and scans then asks me to strike f1 to retry boot f2 to get into setup. When I press f1 to retry the boot it loads normally up to the point where it shows the loading bar for windows 7 after which it switches to a black screen for an abnormally long time before displaying my login screen. This happens every first boot and subsequent reboot. The drive is an M.2 ssd that was pre-installed by Dell it's a Samsung P951 512gb model.

Does Dell support Windows 7 on this computer? Generally speaking to downgrade a current PC from 10 to 7 is likely to get you into trouble, especially if the manufacturer doesn't support Windows 7 on your model.

I read several guides on how to install 7 to this system and none say anything about problems and when it actually boots to 7 it runs flawlessly. I just dont want to have to boot twice when updating or installing something that requires a reboot.
