Windows 7 fails to startup

Hi Guys

I recently installed Windows 7 on my Lenovo Thinkpad z61p but after some time of usage my laptop would just switch off without any reason. When i switch it on again it would now just freeze when it gets to the Starting Windows Screen before you login. Can anyone inform me on what to do as I have tried reinstalling Windows 7 several times but I still get the same problem.

Overheating could be the problem. Make sure vents are free of any obstacles. Try some air-in-a-can to clean dust off. If you can, open up the case and do a thorough cleaning inside.
