Hello.
A friend asked me to install a fresh copy of windows for him, but forgot to bring me the charger. Now his laptop has no battery.
I was thinking of swapping his hdd to my laptop and installing that way. I already tried booting up but get the blue screen crash since I've got an intel chipset, and he has amd chipset.
If I format everything and install on my Intel PC, will I be able to swap the hdd back to his AMD PC? Is there any way to not install motherboard related components and just install the OS so that I can swap the hdd back to his pc?
