Windows 7 from old laptop to new pc

Hello all, if I reuse an old hard drive with windows on it for a new build, will windows automatically be on the new pc?

Yes they will be but most probably unusable, due to drivers and activation problems. Things like that rarely go well specially if windows are not retail version.
