So I've had this problem for quite a while now, i have steam, battle launcher for World of Warcraft, and Origin. I can launch steam, but unless i launch the game i want to play immediately after i boot up the computer, it wont launch the game. It just says "preparing to launch" and then sits there doing nothing, no error messages or anything. I try to launch the battle launcher for world of warcraft and it does the same thing, it just sits there. Like i said, if i launch them almost immediately after i boot up my computer, then everything is fine, but if i wait like 10 minutes or so, then it only works starting select games for some reason. It's a very strange problem and I was hoping i would get some insight.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Solution
Check for a virus and check windows update. Check for programs that are running at startup and disable anything not needed as they may be taking a long time to load and interfering with these launchers. type msconfig in search bar in windows go to startup tab and uncheck things you don't need. also I would suggest you create a backup or at min create a restore point before starting this just to be safe.
