This is the pc i am going to build:
Intel Core i7 6700 3.4GHz
ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
16GB DDR4
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit
Windows 7 was the best os i have ever seen so as i am now upgrading i want to know about one thing.
For how many more years will games be released for Windows 7?
I mean will DX12 take over it?
PS3 and XBOX 360 kind of got games for over 8-9 years(i think)and still going on. But its been just 7 years since such a solid os has been released and already its being isolated.....and that too the makers of it.
Will games like GTA 6 and Bully 2 come to windows 7?
With 7 i can play all new games and old games but what about upcoming ones?
My current PC with 8.1 rocks....but i wanted 7.
I have used 10 beforr and it was just garbage.
Glitches,errors,bugs and it even affected my personal files.(some got corrupted)
Just like FB - It's free and always will be.
Windows 10 is like - Its a worse service and always will be.
I dont know what MS is planning ....what would have happened if they released it after proper tests???
Its sucks a lot....
But what can i say......Windows 10 is the os for the future .......
If i want to play future games i need 10.
But 10 is too stupid ......its backwards compatibility is worse.....
Its good for future but what about present?
I didnt play any game for over 6 months with 10 as nothing worked.
The last game which i remember i played on 10 was bully and that was for 10 mins...
With 10 , i faced a variety of problems,
Automatic File Corruption
100% Disk Usage
Start Menu Tiles turn black when scrolled over ......we can say Graphics glitch
Driver Incompatibility
Old Games and software incompatibilty
Cortana doesnt work
Windows Updates non stoppable and manual updates dont work (eg. I cant download my country's keyboard layout or language etc...to make cortana work. It was English (US) and i needed English (India) but cant download)
Sometimes Start doesnt work
Windows Store has infinite loading depsite having a fast internet connection.
Mp4 files dont work
After downgrading from Build 10586 to 10240 , Windows Apps got corrupted
MS Edge didnt work properly , crashed too often.
Some installed applications(from cd) start with TWINUI from default and cant be changed .
Virtual Desktop doesnt work always.
Some Apps freeze the PC.
Etc etc...
Everybody says 10 is great but its problems are never going out.
System Freeze especially...
Pls help.
Should i stick with 7 or go with 10?
If i should stick with 10 what are the things i should do to make it work great?
Is DX 11.1 Platform update going to make any changes in performace?
Its going to be horrible to install games like gta 5 again .
So i am not sure whether i should just try out 10 again because if its still bad i better install 7 and again all the games.
