Windows 7 gets a huge time to start

my note book Compaq presario cq 40 108 TU i had installed Windows 7, but it gets a huge time to start it take 1 - 2 hours . please help me! thanks!

Did you install the chipset drivers? Check your device manager for items with a yellow exclamation point next to them. These are devices with missing drivers.

The chipset drivers are either of date or are missing. In windows 7, press start, and in the search box, type device manager. In device manager, look for any hardware with a yellow explanation point. Right click it and choose update driver... and in the menu that pops up click search the web.
