Hi guys. I've read through some of the forums on how to get W7 to activate and utilize 32gb of ram but i've not been able to make it switch from showing "32gb installed - 16gb usable"

I went into msconfig and tweaked with that but it didn't do anything.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thank you!

Adam

I assume your system has Windows 7 64Bit Home Premium. The max memory limit is 16GB which is limited by the OS regardless of the motherboard supporting more than 16GB of memory. So install a 64Bit Version of Windows 7 Enterprise, professional etc. Hope that helps.

I went ahead and got W7 pro 64 bit. Thank you!
